 Hello and welcome back!
0:09
Today we’re taking a look at deploying an L Class line array onto speaker stand,
0:13
or on a pole over a subwoofer.
0:15
 Let’s go.
0:20
To begin, the LA112 can be quickly deployed in single, or two box array on a speaker stand
0:26
and LA108 can have up to three boxes stacked, due to its more compact size.
0:31
Each model is equipped with a 0 degree and 7.5 degree down-tilt pole cup receiver.
0:36
In a single box deployment on the ground, the 0 angle should be used.
0:40
If deployed on stage or at an elevation, the 7.5 degree down-tilt should be used.
0:48
Additionally, if adding a second box, it’s best to then use the 7.5 degree down tilt
0:53
and set your angle between the two boxes to 12 degrees, for best coverage and performance in this configuration.
0:59
If you are using the LA108 and want to add a third box to the stack,
1:03
we’re going to continue to use the 7.5 degree down tilt pole cup.
1:06
From there just be sure to observe the progressive splay angle rule when setting the angles between the first and second loudspeaker
1:12
 and second and third loudspeaker,
1:13
never using a larger angle value above a smaller angle value.
1:21
 Utilizing the same pole cups,
1:23
these loudspeakers can also be deployed in the same configurations
1:26
over the LA118 subwoofer using an extension pole.
1:30
That’s one or two boxes each for the LA112
1:33
and up to three boxes with the LA108s.
1:36
Additionally, when mounting the LA112 loudspeakers above the LA118 subwoofer,
1:40
the sub must be turned and used on its side.
1:43
This adds stability needed to safely support the larger LA112 loudspeakers
1:47
while making the stack more aesthetically pleasing since the sub’s width now matches the LA112
1:54
 And that's it!
1:55
We'll see you in the next video.
