Imagine if you could walk through these doors, and with a few simple clicks,
00:12
start your remote meeting, taking full advantage of the room’s conferencing technology … and have it just work.
00:18
With Q-SYS, it really is that simple.
00:21
The Q-SYS platform will connect to favorite soft-codec applications,
00:24
integrate with world class-echo cancellation, professional conferencing cameras,
00:29
touchscreen controllers, microphones,
00:31
... you get the picture.
00:32
And it does all this with your installation’s existing networking hardware and standard IT protocols.
00:40
You interested? Let’s go inside.
00:42
Let’s see how the Q-SYS platform fits in an average sized conference room.
00:47
We start off with a table for the participants, an A/V rack in a nearby credenza or cabinet,
00:54
a couple of video monitors for presentation sharing, along with a fixed or PTZ camera for video conferencing,
01:01
some loudspeakers, such as the QSC Acoustic Coverage or Acoustic Design In-Ceiling Loudspeakers, to hear the remote caller.
01:09
The first part of our solution starts with the Q-SYS Core110f,
01:13
a software-based processor that gives you all the functionality of the larger Q-SYS products
01:18
with best-in-class cost-to-I/O ratio.
01:21
It has 8 channels of mic/line level analog audio inputs, 8 channels of mic/line level analog audio outputs,
01:29
and 8 assignable flex channels, which can serve as inputs or outputs.
01:35
For audio-only telephony, our Core 110f offers both analog POTS and digital VOIP in the same box.
01:43
The Core 110f also allows users to employ a variety of web-conferencing services and soft-codec VTCs,
01:50
all thanks to the USB audio and video support.
01:53
Furthermore, software-based AEC and adaptive auto mixing on each of the microphones
01:59
ensures that the audio quality is crystal clear on both ends of the call.
02:04
The video in the room is provided by one or more Q-SYS PTZ-IP Cameras.
02:10
Controlled and powered by a single CAT5 cable, Q-SYS PTZ-IP cameras stream high-quality professional video
02:17
to any Q-SYS USB peripheral for any video-conferencing software.
02:21
And since all Q-SYS cameras connect via a standard Ethernet,
02:25
you don’t have to deal with any AV matrixes;
02:27
you can route as many camera sources to as many USB bridges as you want.
02:32
That’s why we call this “many-to-any” routing.
02:36
And since these cameras are native Q-SYS peripherals,
02:38
they can be controlled by any custom User Control Interface displayed on a touchscreen, just like this one.
02:45
QSC touch screens come in a variety of models and sizes, including wallmount and tabletop versions.
02:52
Powered over Ethernet, these controllers can display a User Control Interface
02:56
that you can customize with Q-SYS Designer Software.
02:59
And of course, these devices can serve as control for your Q-SYS PTZ-IP Cameras.
03:04
But your control options don’t stop there.
03:07
Each QSC touch screen can provide control over your entire Q-SYS system,
03:11
as well as third-party devices such as projectors, lighting, and more.
03:15
The second AV bridging option is the Q-SYS IO-USB Bridge device,
03:20
which is a PoE peripheral that can be mounted under a desk for convenient access for BYOD connectivity or in a rack.
03:27
This is a great option for those integrations that don’t use a Q-SYS touchscreen,
03:32
but really, why would you do that, I mean, look at it!
03:36
Alright, sorry... okay.
03:38
For video distribution, we recommend the Q-SYS NV Series video endpoints.
03:43
This native device features 3 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs,
03:49
and can encode and transport those video sources from the table or the rack onto the network
03:55
to be decoded by another NV Series video endpoint situated close to the destination or display,
04:02
all without any programming or control processors.
04:06
This device also doubles as an AV bridging endpoint,
04:09
which means you probably won’t need to use that Q-SYS I/O-USB Bridge,
04:14
depending on where your NV device is located in the room.
04:18
For more details on the NV Series , be sure to check out our Video 101 training course.
04:23
The next piece of this conferencing solution is the SPA Series of analog power amplifiers.
04:29
This fan-less convection-cooled series offers QSC’s groundbreaking legacy of Class-D power.
04:35
These amplifiers are EnergyStar certified, meaning they will enter into Standby Mode after a given period of non-use,
04:42
reducing power draw to less than 1 watt.
04:45
When signal activity is detected again,
04:47
the smooth Auto-Ramp circuitry ensures a quiet and fast power-up from Standby.
04:53
The included mounting hardware makes it easy to install the amplifier under a table, onto a wall,
05:00
and also includes multi-functioning brackets that make it easy to mount the amplifier in a variety of ways.
05:07
It can also be paired with another SPA amplifier to mount side-by-side in a single rack unit,
05:14
all without any additional hardware.
05:17
From the amplifiers, we move to the loudspeakers.
05:20
QSC offers two classes of product to meet your conferencing installation needs.
05:25
AcousticCoverage series offers a value-friendly solution,
05:28
whereas the AcousticDesign series delivers a premium alternative.
05:33
All QSC Loudspeakers are rigorously tested and voiced using the same Q-SYS processing and QSC amplification,
05:41
ensuring optimal performance of the entire system through the loudspeaker.
05:45
So when it comes to your next meeting room,
05:48
trust the QSC conferencing solution to deliver the best user experience for your customers.
